A Bay Veteran That's Been In The Game For Over 10 Years: Blap Dre

 

Already hump day, we hope everyone is having a solid week so far! We have a veteran to introduce to you guys that’s been in the game for over 10 years now. This pioneer has worked with a number of big name artists such as G-Eazy, E-40, Nef the Pharaoh, Lil Wayne, Cardo got Wings, Migos, SOB X RBE and the list just keeps on going. The Bakery is beyond honored to introduce the one and only Blap Dre! He was once considered mainly a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer that has slowly evolved over time to something greater. Dre now wears many different hats and plays a pivotal role behind the scenes for plenty of up and coming artists. Dre mentioned how he helps with the A&R, reaching out for collaborations, utilizing budgets, booking shows, and locking in with multiple different styles of producers. That way he can make sure the artists he’s working with have a wide variety of sounds available to them. What he’s currently focusing a lot of his time on is helping both Daboii and Slimmy B by co-managing their careers while simultaneously searching for new exciting talent. This wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Nef introducing him to SOB. It’s been history ever since to say the least.  His latest project is the album he executively produced with Daboii titled “Can’t Tame Us” releasing next friday! Make sure to mark your calendars for that release because based off the first single released for this project “Kickdoe” it’s apparent that this project is going to do Numbers (Larry voice). The project has already been submitted and it’s currently in Dre’s favorite stage, the roll out!
